Problem: I have all this material, but where is the ATM I want?

Solution: Feldy Notebook

Feldy Notebook is:
  • An searchable catalog of Feldenkrais® Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) lessons enabling you to easily find the ATM you want.
  • An open source resource created by the community for use by the community.
  • A way to collect and share new insights about the ATMs.
  • A way to organize and relate ATMs together using tags, themes, and explicit links

Finding lessons is easy:
  • Textual Search: You can search on any textual phrase that appears in the ATM lesson. Use the search tool in the navigation pane on the right side of the screen.
  • By Source: You can browse through all ATMs from a given source, e.g. Amherst Year 1 or ATM Book .
  • By Tags (Keywords): You can search through all ATMs that have the same position (e.g. sitting lessons), movement (e.g. rolling), focus (e.g. shoulders), or author.
  • By Themes: You can learn about lessons that all share a common theme, e.g. pelvic clock.
  • Alphabetically: You can see an alphabetical list of all the ATMs in Feldy Notebook.

The content of the site is created by the community for the community. You don't have to be an expert or a Feldenkrais® trainer to contribute.
  • Do you have a favorite ATM that doesn't appear yet? Add it.
  • Have you prepared to teach an ATM this weekend? Share your understanding.
  • Have you done an ATM class recently? Share your experiences. With every contribution, the notebook becomes more valuable -- for you and for the rest of the community. All changes to the notebook can be undone, so be bold. For more information, see How To ....

How can you help Feldy Notebook?

To help:
  • Contribute: The notebook is only as valuable as the information in it. Even providing a simple synopsis of a lesson or sharing your experiences doing an ATM will help. The system keeps a complete history of every page, so you have no need to worry about messing up. Be bold. All changes can be undone.
  • Provide feedback: What do you find confusing? What is missing? What is hard to do?
  • Spread the word: Tell you friends and colleagues.
  • Link to the site: Update your own website to point to Feldy Notebook.
  • Update your profile: Let other members know a little about yourself, e.g. what training you are from?
